Seems to be I’m always getting spoiled way more than I deserve and Christmas is no exception to that. So I thought I’d use this post to express my gratitude for all the lovely things I recently recieved.
Christmas gift-giving was a little split up this year. I swapped gifts with a few friends fairly early on and P and I swapped our gifts on the 23rd, reasoning that that made more sense than if we carried each other’s gifts to his parent’s home and then carried them back again (with gifts for 11 children, 8 siblings, 5 spouses to siblings and 2 parents, we had quite enough to carry already thank you very much). Then, on Christmas day gifts were swapped with his family. When we arrived in Leeds on the 28th, we swapped more presents with my mum and sister. I won’t see my dad until later this month, so that’s still to come as well.
I’ve enjoyed this. It’s like having lots of little Christmasses and just when you start to think that all the excitement is over you run into another person who you have a gift for (incidentally, I’m the person who gets presents for friends they’re unlikely to over Christmas, and I always seem to end up giving very late Christmas presents in, like, August, as a result. No one’s ever disapointed.)
So this year, here’s what I was lucky enough to recieve:
